Avon Walk for Breast Cancer

Avon Walk
for
Breast Cancer
One weekend, a world of good.

The Avon Walk is a marathon walk (or a marathon and a half!) over two days.  The total distance is your choice.  Your goal is to walk at least the distance of a marathon (26.2 miles).  You can spread it out over both days, or you can choose to walk a full marathon on Saturday, and then add an extra half-marathon (13.1 miles) on Sunday.  It's your choice, and you can make up your mind (and change it) right on the spot.  The walk is designed to allow people of all fitness levels to have a safe, challenging, and rewarding experience while helping in the fight against breast cancer.

The NY Chapter of the Ms. America Ambassador Club has started Team MAA to help with this wonderful event.  The team will be serving as crew members for the NY weekend, October 2-3, 2004.

Contact Joy Finerson, Ms. NY America Ambassador at Danzwitme98@aol.com for more infomations and other ways you can help.
